Alberto received his PhD in December 2015 from the Universite de Geneve, Switzerland. After two Postdoctoral stints at Caltech and Brown University, Alberto joined Northeastern University as an Assistant Professor in June 2023. Alberto is also a Guest Researcher at the Material Science Department of Argonne National Lab.

Aditya Prasad Roy

Postdoctoral Researcher

Aditya did his Ph.D. on "finding ways to enhance coupling between spins, phonons, and electrons in pursuit of faster and efficient electronic devices" from IIT Bombay. He will further his study of quantum materials at the DeLTA Lab by deploying advanced techniques to probe metastable states of matter. Aditya enjoys running, playing tennis, PC gaming, and cooking.

Edward (Teddy) Mercer

Teddy graduated from Dickinson College (spring 2023, physics and mathematics double major). He was part of a NSF-funded research experience in quantum and material physics (Borys Lab MSU). Teddy enjoys running, golfing and spending time outside.

Matthew is a Computer science and Physics major with an Astrophysics minor. Mathew is interested in astronomy, physics, signal processing, programming, piano, and hockey and a member of NUSEDS and NUAero.

Faith Degawa

Faith is an Electrical and Computer Engineering major with a Physics minor. She is a NU Global Scholar and UPLIFT Scholar. Faith is interested in quantum computing and embedded systems design and also enjoys cars, dance, piano, and bouldering.
